Huge transfer boost for Chelsea FC as they are ready to smash transfer record with £100m signing of this 29-year-old

The Daily Telegraph, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Blues have identified the 29-year-old Poland international as their top transfer target for the summer.

According to the same story, the west London side are keen to land Lewandowski to prove to Eden Hazard that they will be one of the main contenders for the title next season.

Hazard’s future is likely to be a source of speculation this summer after the Blues missed out on a place in the Champions League for next season following their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.

The same story says that Chelsea FC are ready to break their transfer record to land Lewandowski, despite the striker turning 30 in August.

Lewandowski has been in superb form for Bayern Munich this season, scoring 41 goals and making three assists in all competitions for the German club.

Chelsea FC managed to end the season on a high by beating Manchester United 1-0 in the FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday as they clinched their second major trophy under Antonio Conte
