OFFICIAL: Chelsea Wing-back signs new two-year deal (read full news)

Chelsea have  announced Hannah Blundell has penned a new deal two-year deal with the West London club.

The 23-year-old wing-back signed the contract extension ahead of their UEFA Women's Champions League semifinal clash against Wolfsburg next week.

According to the club official website , Blundell extended her stay at Kingsmeadow until at least 2020, who came up from our centre of excellence and has been a first-team regular since debut in 2013 In her first words after inking the new deal ,Blundell
said : ''Obviously, it means a lot to me. It was an easy decision – I love this club, it's like a family here and it's my home.


''I'm very happy the club wants to keep me. I’ve developed massively in my time here and Emma Hayes has helped me so much, both on and off the pitch. She’s been incredible.''

The England international has made her 100th appearance for Chelsea Ladies and she was one of five Chelsea players named in the 2017/18 PFA Women's Super League 1 Team of the Year.

Bludell is hoping the best is still to come, with the Blues facing a two-legged tie for a place in the Champions League final – the first match of which is taking place on Sunday at Kingsmeadow.
