Spanish Journalist Eduardo Inda has claimed Chelsea are ready to do a swap deal with Real Madrid for Gareth Bale, with Eden Hazard going the opposite way.
Bale’s time at Madrid appears to be coming to an end at the end of the season with boss Zinedine Zidane thought to be keen to move him on, as he seeks to add both Neymar and Hazard to his squad this summer.
And the Daily Express website has claimed Chelsea are ready to negotiate a deal for the Belgian, with well known journalist Inda saying both parties are willing to negotiate a swap deal involving the two superstars.
“Chelsea would be willing to do the Hazard operation with Real Madrid if Gareth Bale enters,” Inda revealed.
“Real Madrid or Chelsea could have to give money to close the operation, but the priorities of the two parties have been clear.”
Hazard is loved at Chelsea and is a big part of the clubs success, but despite announcing recently that ‘he hasn’t been good enough this season’ he hasn’t looked like a man fully focused on playing for the Blues.
Speculation surrounding his future with the Spaniards has been circling for a while, with many believing he is keen to make the move to La Liga to further his career.
